12 hours at work today after a week of vacation.

After several days of suspecting a complete failure at incubating our first batch of Quail eggs, 13 hatched today. What a relief! The quail that were the dryest, we moved to our brooder with a thermometer duck taped to the side of the clear plastic box.

Also the shipment of honey bees arrived today. I did not get stung once and they are safely tucked into the hive with a quart feeder jar of sugar syrup. I plugged the opening in the front with grass to keep them there over night. Also plugged a kosher marshmellow into the queens cage - will check tomorrow to make sure she got out.
